Does Pages have a ‘Writer Mode’ where it keeps text centred on the screen as you type?

I’m a writer. Though I typically write using Scrivener for iPad, I like to practice write using Pages for iPad. I also write query letters and other docs using Pages.

One feature in Scrivener is that you can toggle a mode that keeps the line you’re typing in the middle of the screen. In Pages, as you continue typing, even just a half page, the line you’re typing on sits at the bottom of the screen along with the keyboard bar. Ergonomically, it’s uncomfortable compared to having the line in middle of the screen. Creatively, I find it awful as there is ‘no space to type into’. Also, I constantly need to scroll up to keep the typing vertically centred on the screen.

Has anyone figured out a way of keeping the typing vertically centred on the screen?

Thanks for the info, VikingOSX. I know what Scrivener is as I use it everyday.

But I was just asking a straightforward question. Your opinion is less helpful. Call it what you want, but Pages can do a helluva a lot of things I can’t do in, for e.g. Word, so don’t be so quick to categorically dismiss Pages. If it doesn’t work for your workflow, so be it. We don’t need to know.

BTW, I’m not sure ‘Presentation Mode’ is designed for a consumer audience, not to mention all the specific and detailed line and image adjustments, etc. Just sayin’.
