I inserted my SIM card into a new phone (both Apple) and my SIM card won’t connect to the new phone.

today, I transferred all my data onto a new phone. My old one had cracks. I transferred all my data but before wiping all the old data on my old phone, I inserted the SIM card into the new phone and the phone number won’t connect to the phone. I can still text iPhone users but not android. The sim card still works on the old phone though. What do I do?
