iPhone SE 2023 Battery Health

Hi, it's been 11 months since I purchased my iPhone SE 2023 and its battery health dropped to 91%. Can it be replaced by Apple or covered under warranty?

Battery Health will decline on average at about 1% a month. If your phone is 11 months old, then it would be normal for the Battery Health to be at about 88-90% at this time. Your battery is at 91%.

Nothing at all wrong with your battery......it's performing normally.....actually a bit better than normal.

Apple won't replace a battery under warranty unless Battery Health falls under 80% within the first year of use.

You will need to replace the battery in your phone about 12-14 months or so from now.

Warranty Coverage:

  • Apple provides a limited one-year warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. If there's an issue with the battery that falls within the warranty period, Apple may replace it free of charge.
  • AppleCare+ Coverage:
  • If you purchased AppleCare+ for your iPhone SE, it extends the coverage to two years from the original purchase date and includes coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage, including battery replacement.

To check the warranty status and coverage, you can:

  • Go to the "Settings" app on your iPhone.
  • Tap on "General" and then "About."
  • Look for "Limited Warranty" or "AppleCare+" to see the coverage status.
