No content emails on my Mac but fully visible on my phone

This problem has been on going for a while but is now multiplying at an alarming rate such that of the 18 emails I received yesterday 9 (ie 50%) were blighted with this issue. Yes my Mac is fully up to date and no I have no additional security features like lockdown enabled. When is Apple going to sort this problem? Its really impeding my work out put.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.2

verify your settings Mail issues—

Open mail app select Mail>Settings>Privacy disable:

Protect Mail Activity

Hide IP address

Block all remote content

If no resolve see:

—if you are using Hide My email—try disabling this feature and compare your results...

Set up and use Hide My Email in iCloud+ on all your devices - Apple Support

—if you are using iCloud Private Relay on Mac - Apple Support try disabling this feature and compare your results...

Use iCloud Private Relay on Mac - Apple Support

For problem accounts the go to way to sort things out is to delete the account(s) from the Mail.app, then add it back.

Remove email accounts in Mail on Mac

Remove email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

Add email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

Add email accounts in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

Note—

IMAP accounts stay on the server, so no local loss, when you re-sync

POP accounts download and remove from the server—therefor save your inbox/sent box if you want them

“On My Mac" is just that, local folders you created and moved mail into. So no loss
