Folders don't show on iPad Pro when syncing photos (but albums and photos do)

Hi, just received a new iPad pro and in loading up photos Ive sorted them on my mac (in photos) in folders and albums. When I sync my iPad to the mac photos are only showing in albums and no folder name appear. Also can I change the order they show on the iPad - they appear in "from my mac"

Folders missing in sync iPhone I keep my pictures in separate folders - in my case, in a larger Pictures folder under my user name (and not in Photos / iCloud Photos) on my Mac. If you open my iPhone for syncing (Finder > my Phone), and click thru the Photos tab, you'll see I have set up 'Sync photos to your device from: Pictures (the route to the main folder), and chosen 'Select folders' - with some sub-folders chosen. Syncing seems to go off okay, but in reviewing the folders on the iPhone, some of the chosen folders simply aren't there. I have trying unchecking the missing folders in 'Select folders' and re-syncing, then re-enabling them and syncing. Nope. I have fully uninstalled all photos from my iPhone and the sync option and then re-syncing. Nope. This shouldn't be an iCloud Photos issue because I'm asking the sync to choose a local folder on my computer. Perplexed as to why its only some folders - no rhyme or reason, as far as I can tell. While I am currently on Monterey, this has been an issue for a couple of OSs now.

Photo Albums that are in folders don't show up in iOS apple forum post albums in folders not showing up in iOS 16.5.1 / i have albums organized into folders from photos on mojave and/or in high sierra on my computers. but if the albums are in a folder i don't see them in iOS 16.5.1 instead the folders are empty. so i have to move them out of the folders when on my desktop when i need access from my phone and then i have to eventually go back to the desktop to reorganize them so i am not completely over run with albums. how do i fix this please?

How can I delete the pictures stored on the On My Mac section of my photo library on my iPhone? I have deleted all the photos in my Mac library and on my iPhone library, but the phone will still show me old photos on the Library. When I go to Albums, the top shown section, My Albums, shows clear, but I scroll down a bit, and under the People & Places section, I see the From My Mac section, with a bunch of old pictures in folders named Camera Roll, iCloud Photos, and another 2, with 7K + photos from ages ago. How can I remove them all?
