Apple TV+ verification failed message
When I go to Apple TV+ and choose something to watch the message “Verification failed. There were errors signing you in. Wait a minute and try again.”
this has happened for 3 days.

Smart TV - Pioneer
I suppose you have some HDMI streaming device connected to it, that has the Apple TV app on it? The last Pioneer TV is from 2009-04, and I am pretty sure that Apple’s compatibility for this app doesn’t go that far back for smart TV apps.
have not had any problems with this until this week - have AppleTV+ for more than a year.
Could it be that you have made changes to DNS, firewall, or other network settings?
Could it be that new system software is needed for the streaming device?
Could it be that the Apple TV app has a new version available?
Could it be that a router restart helps the Apple TV app connect to a verification server?
Could it be that a streaming device restart helps the Apple TV app connect to a verification server?
On what brand and model device, that has the Apple TV app, is this happening?
