this symbol appears on my 2020 Hyundai Kona when I use my apple x connected using CarPlay

I found one comment on the Internet which said that this symbol means that notification announcements are on, and that when you get a text CarPlay will read it out to you.

As I don't have CarPlay I can't confirm where to change this setting, but the first place I would look is on your iPhone at Settings > Notifications > Siri > Announce Notifications
