I bought an iPad 12.9 inch 6 generation off of facebook marketplace and i need to provide proof of ownership for insurance. Anybody know how I can get a copy of my product registration from apple? I have my IPads serial number written down but that's about it.

Unless the original owner (from whom you purchased the iPad) has provided you with the original purchase receipt, you'll not be able to obtain a copy.
Consider that the iPad may have been purchased from one of many retailers, or which Apple itself is only one possibility. Also consider that even if possible, a retailer will likely decline to provide a duplicate receipt to anyone other than the original purchaser - as to they will likely breach privacy laws/legislation that exist in many countries.

If you added it to your AppleID account, you will see it listed there on your iPhone. A screenshot of that should work for the insurance needs. I would also add the bank transaction receipt if you bought it via card, not cash. Alternatively, the screenshots of the conversation with the seller will also help. The more pieces you provide the better.
I was able to make a claim for replacement golf clubs that I bought at a charity auction by providing a photo of me with them while playing. Who knew!
