Returning to homepage when attempting to change State on App Store

I asked this question before but no one has ever helped and the thread was deleted, so thanks a lot guys. My app store and apps on my ipad are unusable right now because update required me to change country region on appstore before i can update them. Whenever i need to input my country state(US) I get returned to the homepage of appstore when i click on it (touch it with my finger). This outrageous bug or whatever it is are seriously impacting my ability to use the device.

1. Update iPadOS:

- Ensure that your iPad is running the latest version of iPadOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and check for any available updates.

2. Restart iPad:

- A simple restart can sometimes resolve software glitches. Turn off your iPad, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

3. Check Region Settings:

- Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iTunes & App Store.

- Tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen.

- Choose "View Apple ID" and sign in if prompted.

- Under the "Account" section, select "Country/Region" and make sure it is set to the correct region (in this case, the United States).

4. Clear App Store Cache:

- Open the App Store and tap on any of the bottom icons (Featured, Top Charts, Explore, Search).

- Tap on one of the icons 10 times in quick succession to clear the App Store cache.

5. Try a Different Network:

- Sometimes network issues can affect app behavior. Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or use cellular data.

6. Reset All Settings:

- If the issue persists, you can try resetting all settings on your iPad. Note that this won't delete your data but will reset system settings to their defaults.

- Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

7. Contact Apple Support:

- If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's advisable to contact Apple Support for further assistance. They can provide more personalized guidance based on the specific details of your iPad.

8. Check for App Updates:

- If you're still unable to change the region, check if there are updates available for the apps causing the issue. Sometimes, updating the apps might resolve compatibility problems.

9. Update Payment Information:

- Ensure that your payment information is up to date in your Apple ID account settings. Some changes to region settings may require valid payment information associated with the new region.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, reaching out to Apple Support is the best course of action. They can provide specific assistance and might have additional steps to address the issue. Remember to describe the problem in detail when contacting support.
