Nothing is working to get my iPad to put my kindle icon on screen keeps saying it’s installed but nothing on home screen
Search for Kindle app icon on your device. It might be in the first (home) page or next screens, swiping from right to left, or accidentally moved into a folder somewhere.
If you're sure that that app has been correctly downloaded and installed (but you can't find it), go to your App Library, find and move it to your preferred screen page, as per these instructions:--> Find your apps in App Library on iPad

If you're experiencing issues with apps, such as Kindle, not appearing on the home screen of your iPad despite showing as installed, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:
1. Restart Your iPad:
- Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor glitches. Turn off your iPad, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
2. Check App Library:
- Swipe down on the home screen to access the App Library. Check if the Kindle app is located there. If it is, you can tap on it to open, and then consider moving it to the home screen.
3. Search for the App:
- Swipe down on the home screen to reveal the search bar at the top.
- Type "Kindle" in the search bar. If the app appears in the search results, tap on it to open.
4. Reset Home Screen Layout:
- Go to Settings > General > Reset.
- Tap on "Reset Home Screen Layout."
- This will reset the home screen layout to the default, and all apps will be arranged alphabetically.
5. Reinstall the App:
- Delete the Kindle app from your iPad by pressing and holding the app icon until it jiggles, then tap the "X" icon.
- Go to the App Store, search for "Kindle," and reinstall the app.
6. Check Restrictions:
- Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
- Make sure that the "iTunes & App Store Purchases" option is not restricted.
7. Update iOS:
- Ensure that your iPad is running the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and check for updates.
8. Check Available Storage:
- Go to Settings > General > [iPad] Storage. Check if there is enough available storage on your iPad.
9. Sign Out and Sign In to App Store:
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
- Tap on your Apple ID and choose "Sign Out." Sign in again.
10. Check Family Sharing:
- If you are part of a Family Sharing group, ensure that the Kindle app is not hidden under Family Sharing restrictions.
11. Restore from Backup:
- If none of the above solutions work, you may consider restoring your iPad from a backup if you have one available.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, there might be a more complex problem, and it may be worth contacting Apple Support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on the details of your iPad and the issue you're facing.
