NEVER EVER install any of the following types of apps on a Mac!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

·      Antivirus Apps

·      Cleaning Apps

·      Security Apps

·      VPN Apps

·      Maintenance Apps

Why, they simply do absolutely nothing to benefit Mac OS. Users find that they do the exact opposite that they want. These types of apps make Mac OS slow, unstable, appear buggy, have weird performance issues and in return do absolutely nothing to make Mac OS more secure than it already is. Mac OS is like a cat, it takes care of itself by simply keeping it up-to-date and restarting the computer about 1x per week.

You would not want to do that anyway. It is not recommended to install AV software on your Mac computer as it will conflict with the XProtect security already provided with the OS and will only give you more problems.

That's OK! Mac computers do not benefit from third-party security or maintenance utilities. They can cause your Mac to run slowly and behave abnormally.
