when I shake to undo delete or moving of one mail message on my iPad or iPhone it undeletes all of my messages from the last several weeks

Whenever I shake my iPad or iPhone to undo deletion or moving of a single email, my inbox is flooded what ALL the emails I deleted or moved over the last several weeks. It's very frustrating as now my inbox is full of hundreds of emails I already got rid of.

This has been happening for several months now. My devices are fully up to date, and I've checked my settings.
