Problems with Virtual Display

I am unable to connect to my Mac using the virtual display function.

I have an M1 MacBook with the latest OS. Bluetooth and wireless are on. Both AVP and the Mac are using the same AppleID with 2 factor auth enabled. I have restarted both devices.

Sometimes the Mac appears in the control center of the AVP, but when I go to connect it times out.

Login screen appears on Projector after reboot Mac mini Pro M2 with 2 studio displays over thunderbolt and one Epson projector over HDMI. The projector is not used often and usually powered off. After every cold or warm boot the login screen is displayed on the projector and I have to power on the projector or unplug the HDMI cable so I can see the log in screen. If I just lock the computer the log in screen is displayed on my main studio display with no need to interact with the projector. How do you set the log in screen to always display on a certain monitor? macOS Version 13.3.1(a) Studio displays Version 16.4 (Build 20E246)
