Sony WH1000-XM4 losing microphone in macOS

This issue appears for last half year - I have alway updated macOS and headphones to the last version.

It appears really randomly, I have connected headphones to the macOS via Bluetooth. When I have e.g. Teams call, everything works fine, also when it ends, but on another call, half hour later, only speakers in headphones works. Mic is used from MacBook. When I search in Teams's device settings, for speakers I can select from integrated and Sony, but for mic, there is only integrated option. In system settings, there is also microphone from Sony's headphones not visible as input device. After reconnect everything works just fine until next random mic disappear.

I have the Sony WH1000-XM4 headphones (firmware v2.5.0) on macOS 14.3. I can tap once and hold on the right ear piece to activate Voice Assist and this automatically launches Siri, with which I can further interact verbally.

I do not use these headphones for any videoconference or taking/placing calls, so won't be able to diagnose your issues with Teams (something else I do not use).

Using these headphones with M2 Mac Mini Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
