How to Organize music files for iTunes on MacBook with macOS High Sierra

I want to consolidate all of my music files into one folder for iTunes. Currently they are coexist and are still being loaded to iCloud. My MacBook is running an out of date OSx 10.13 High Sierra that can’t run Music. How do I consolidate all music into iTunes and use Music on my iPhone?

Little Ray,

This document has a section on how to consolidate those scattered files for all library songs into the designated Media folder, using the Consolidate command:

By the way, if you have any music files that are not part of your library, Consolidate does not notice them. If you want them added, you can do so manually.
