I have to reset my iPhone to factory settings, what is the process to recover a backup?

I was duped by a text message that I thought was from my bank. The fraud department informed me that In order to access my accounts from my phone, I need to do a factory reset or take to the Geek squad. I think this is something I can do myself. I’ve backed my phone up. I’m not transferring to a new phone, just need to restore the backup. Same process?
