If emails sent from your @me.com and @mac.com addresses are being rejected, it could be due to various reasons. Here are some steps you can take to address the issue:
1. Check Recipient's Email Address:
- Ensure that you're entering the recipient's email address correctly. Sometimes, typos or incorrect addresses can cause emails to be rejected.
2. Review Email Content:
- Check the content of the emails you're sending. Avoid including any attachments or links that could trigger spam filters or be flagged as suspicious by email servers.
3. Verify Email Settings:
- Double-check the outgoing mail server settings in your email client (e.g., Mail app). Ensure that the server settings are configured correctly for sending emails from your @me.com and @mac.com addresses.
4. Check for Blacklisting:
- Your email domain (@me.com and @mac.com) may have been blacklisted by some email servers. You can use online tools or services to check if your domain is blacklisted and take steps to address any issues.
5. Contact Email Provider Support:
- Reach out to Apple Support or the support team for iCloud Mail (which hosts @me.com and @mac.com addresses) for assistance. They can investigate the issue further and provide guidance on resolving it.
6. Consider Alternate Email Addresses:
- If the issue persists and you need to send urgent emails, consider using an alternate email address (e.g., Gmail or Outlook) until the issue with your @me.com and @mac.com addresses is resolved.
7. Monitor Error Messages:
- If emails are being rejected, they may include error messages or codes that provide insight into the reason for the rejection. Take note of any error messages you receive and use them to troubleshoot the issue.
8. Check for Account Issues:
- Ensure that your @me.com and @mac.com email accounts are in good standing and not experiencing any account-related issues. You can log in to your Apple ID account and check the status of your email addresses.
By following these steps and addressing any potential issues, you should be able to resolve the problem of emails being rejected when sent from your @me.com and @mac.com addresses. If the issue persists, don't hesitate to seek further assistance from Apple Support or email provider support.

I take it that is OK to follow the google instructions?
When this happens, do you get an error message indicating anything?
It sounds like trouble with imap/smtp protocol.
In your mail app go to the Window Menu, check your Activity and Connection doctor, What do those say ?
Knowing nothing more, I would suggest turning off you icloud account , your computer and sign back into your icloud address.
It is a new protocol implemented by gmail from February 2024. It normally is concerning people sending more than 5000 mails a day. It really is up to you, if you want to follow through with the protocols. If you receive no error from your other devices, you at least have a backup plan.
Thanks to both of you for this support.
Thanks again.
