Today after an update, I asked Siri what 24.8 time 24.9 was. Siri replied 24.eight x 24.nine and didn’t do the decimal math?

When I ask, I get 617.52. What answer are you getting?
And just to be clear, you're saying "times" not "time", right?
My answer was 192
and it displayed
24.8 x 24.Nine
Try going to Settings>Siri & Search>Calculator and making sure that everything is turned on.
