Setting bluetooth audio device priority / automatic routing of audio preset

I am using a carplay device on my motorcycle and my helmet communication connected to the iPhone to listen to music / answer phonecalls. Everytime I turn off and on my motorcycle the phone re-connects to the carplay device and sound is re-routed to it which makes me to take off my gloves, get the phone out of the pocket and change the airplay setting manually, instead of having an ability to set the bluetooth priority or at least set a default device that would be preferred every time it is nearby and can be connected. Android devices do have this ability and it might even make me switch to android cause it is very iritating to mannually switch several times during a single ride or commute.
