Is there an Apple Silicon compatible DNSCrypt-OSXClient?

I've used the OSX DNSCrypt client for decades. The most recent version I've been able to find online is 1.0.14. It is in Intel code and hung up the initial installation of my TimeMachine download on my M1 Max laptop because Apple didn't think to ask whether Rosetta 2 would be needed during the initial setup (boo!).

I expect that there will be a future MacOS update that will abandon Rosetta 2 similarly to dropping the original Rosetta after the switch from PowerPC to Intel. I hope there'll be a universal code compile of the DNSCrypt-OSXclient before then. If not, can someone post straight forward instructions for how to implement the DNSCrypt Proxy on MacOS? Thanks.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.3
