Apple CarPlay not working properly

Apple CarPlay is not working from day one when I collected my new Lexus nx350.

When I call for Siri to do something.

if I ask it to send a text message it get stuck in a loop sends then un-sends the message.

whatsapp it sends half of the Siri “what would you like me to do” then your message

That’s if Siri answers at all

i have tried disconnecting from the car forgetting the device, reset everything all the standard IT suggestions

still not working

Lexus tech have to answer please someone help

iOS 16 Broke CarPlay for me - Anyone else? CarPlay on iOS15 worked fine with my Porsche 911 (992). With iOS16 it's broken. I've tried everything on the car side and the iOs one too. Deleted profiles, re-paired, renamed, rebooted, reset network settings - Hours of experimenting and still nothing. Works fine with my BMW X5 though. The Porsche PCM has not had any updated recently - The only thing that has changed is the version of iOS. The phone is visible and works fine with the Porsche PCM's built in Bluetooth playback, but if you hit the CarPlay link button on the device screen to connect CarPlay it goes green (on) for about 20 seconds then goes white (off) again. Pressing and holding the voice button on the steering wheel which usually kicks in CarPlay set up now just launches Siri. This is super frustrating - Now I''ve got no Waze, no maps, none of the useful stuff that I need in the car. I can't see how it's the Porsche PCM that is' the issue since that hasn't been updated or changed so it must be iOS16 - Apple, please fix this and make a bit more of an effort when beta testing this stuff.

iOS 15.5 & CarPlay Using an iPhone 12 Pro and running iOS 15.5. Vehicle has a stock stereo. After installing iOS 15.5, the handsfree functions of CarPlay have stopped working altogether. Siri no longer reads or is able to send a text message handsfree when my phone is plugged into one of the USB ports in my vehicle. Otherwise, the other features of CarPlay seem to work just fine. It's a new cable and is undamaged. Have tried a different USB port in the vehicle without success.

Siri not reading messages in CarPlay Ok Brains Trust - 2019 VW Tiguan, Siri worked perfectly in CarPlay with my iPhone 6S, initially did so when I upgraded to an 8Plus, then randomly stopped reading my text messages and WhatsApp messages. Siri responds to “Hey Siri”, accepts dictation of messages, but does not read them back, merely making the double-chime. She does the same double chime when I ask her to read my messages. As far as trouble-shooting I have: Unpaired and repaired to CarPlay; Used an Apple and other cord to try both; VW have installed latest update for CarPlay; I have checked all settings to ensure DND when driving etc is not switched off; and I’ve ensured that my IOS is running on the current update. Any suggestions as to what else I can try, as this is very inconvenient. Thanks in advance! ☺️
