Turn Off Sending Text Noise

Is it possible to turn off the sound that messages make when you send an outgoing text message without having to turn off the text tone altogether? I want to have the sound on for when I receive a text, but not have a noise for every outgoing text I send when I have my sound on. The only thing I’ve found to fix this is to turn off the text tone in sound and haptics, but that also means there’s no noise when I receive a text message.

Is there a way to stop outgoing swoosh sound on iphone 16 messenger? So I just switched from android to the new iphone 16 and I can't seem to get rid of this annoying swooshing sound whenever I send a message. Looking at old forums they say there is an option under sounds&haptics for the sent message tone, but I don't see it on my phone. The only option is to shut off the text tone but that also removes inbound message sounds. Is there a workaround? Ngl having buyers remorse right now.

Stop outgoing message sound but keep text alert How do I turn off the“Swoosh” sound for an outgoing message? (BUT I WANT TO KEEP HEARING TEXT ALERTS) I saw this was asked already but the answer was wrong. Going to Settings > Sounds & Haptics, and looking for sound and vibration options. There you can see Sent Mail and if you tap it you can change the alert tone from Swoosh to None. But that doesn’t work. Mine already says none. Swoosh isn’t even an option for the “Sent mail”

Text message notification Sometimes I receive a sound notification when I receive text messages and sometimes I don't. It seems like I don't get any notification if someone is replying to a message I send; even if hours have gone by. It seems like I only get a sound when someone starts the conversation. I need a sound when someone replies!
