How to remove White Box from Lock Screen on iPhone?

I recently got my phone basically replaced as it suddenly died out of nowhere and now I have a weird white box at the top right of my lock screen - underneath my provider and battery details.. any idea how to get rid of this? I have tried restarting with no luck.

Hello ~ That white line is there to remind you this is the way you can view the Control Center. Swipe down on it to see. The line will disappear when you unlock the iPhone.

Removing the White Box from the Lock Screen:

1. Check Widgets:

   - Sometimes, widgets or notifications can cause unexpected elements to appear on the lock screen. Swipe right on the lock screen to access the widgets view and see if there's any widget causing the white box.

2. Toggle Off Widgets:

   - If a widget seems to be related to the white box, you can try removing or toggling it off by editing your widgets. Press and hold on an empty space on the lock screen and tap "Edit" to manage your widgets.

3. Check Accessibility Settings:

   - Go to Settings > Accessibility and review any settings related to display or lock screen that might be causing the issue. Adjusting these settings could potentially resolve the problem.

4. Reset Home Screen Layout:

   - Resetting the home screen layout can sometimes fix display issues. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. This won't delete any data but will reset your home screen layout to default.

5. Update iOS:

   - Ensure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version available. Updating to the latest software version can often resolve unexpected glitches and display issues.

6. Factory Reset:

   - As a last resort, if the issue persists, you can consider performing a factory reset on your iPhone. Remember to back up your data before proceeding with a factory reset.

If after trying these steps the white box still persists, reaching out to Apple Support for more tailored assistance could be beneficial. They may have specific insights or solutions to address this unusual display anomaly on your lock screen.
