The alarming red page is just a scam. Nothing is scanning your iPhone, nor is it even possible for a website to do that. There was no need to shut it down. Nothing is happening regardless of what that alarming red page might say. It's all a lie.

Some illustrated examples are here: Phony "tech support" / "ransomware" popups and web pages - Apple Community. The way to fix it is to close the page and clear Safari's history, but you wrote you already tried that. If you want to take the iPhone to an Apple Store perhaps someone might be able to show you what you need to do.

Have done all the clearing that is suggested. I can use the iPhone 14 with Chrome browser but if I try to use the Safari browser I just get this alarming red page where is is supposedly scanning my phone - so I shut down the phone as quickly as possible. Since I haven't gotten any other fixes for this problem I was wondering if I should take the phone to the Apple Store for help.
