I need to update my card and the system will not allow me to

I have a new credit card. I need to change information on my card for my subscription. The cards have the same number but different expiration dates and CVV. When I try to edit it will not allow me to make changes. I also tried adding the card and the system would not take it because it says there is a card with same number. I feel like I’m being forced to pay.
