Not receiving notifications of new messages on iPhone 14 Pro Max

I get no audio or haptic notifications.

My phone has recently stopped giving any notifications for messages/texts. I’ve tried restarting several times, including hard restarts. I’ve updated the phone with all updates.

I’ve checked all the notification settings and everything seems to be working. I get notifications from our Ring doorbell and cameras. It’s just messages that isn’t working right now.

Can you help with this?

Hi My name is Norm and I’m in Australia, I had the same problem with my 14 Pro running the latest beta updates, The advice given from Apple support was to restore the phone and use a backup that had been completed prior to installing the beta update software.

I had not done the backup, I had to completely restore the phone to IOS 17.3 which is the latest stable version.

My advice to you would be to see if you or someone has turned on ALLOW BETA UPDATES and if so TURN IT OFF and restore your phone through iTunes. If you don’t have a backup, you have alot of work to do. Luckily for me i had backed up my contacts to Google.
