Has anyone else restored an iCloud backup to a new phone and then lost all of their reminders (even though they were supposed to be included in the back up as well)??

I just had to replace my iPhone 13 Pro when it died and when the replacement phone came I had no problem setting it up, other than my reminders app did not back up correctly. I was able to get it loaded on my phone but it was a version from a couple of months ago. I tried resetting my phone again after speaking with some support in hopes that a different iCloud backup date might include the reminders, but when I did, NONE of my reminders came back at all!! is it because I had to do a software update and it somehow got lost in the mix? does anyone know how I can get them back?

Reminders are not part of an iCloud backup. Reminders are synced to an account. That could be iCloud or another email account. Make sure you've added all of your accounts back to your phone. Go to Settings>Reminders>Accounts to check.
