The hardware model year of your iMac will determine how far you can upgrade.

• A Mid 2015 iMac can upgrade as far as Big Sur, but no further.
• A Late 2015 iMac can upgrade as far as Monterey, but no further.

You can check the model year using About This Mac in the Apple () menu.

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and then on the download link for a newer OS. A 2015 iMac model's maximum one is Monterey; 10.15 is Catalina, not High Sierra.

Catalina and above won't run 32-bit software and split the functions of iTunes up; if you choose one of them, use Go64 as well.
