Is there a way to change which device is considered default for someone with family sharing in the Find My app? My children had iPads first, but now have watches, and the app still defaults to showing their iPad location under People which isn’t super helpful since it’s usually not with them.
Each device can become the location source - but obviously only one at a time.
Go to the Find My app, then the Me tab. If you are using a device which is NOT being used as a location you will see the option in the Me tab to switch to that device for location use.
If you are using the device which currently is used as the location it will say From: This [device name].
An Apple Watch will need to have access to data ("cellular") to be capable of this.
