Every time I try, it prompts me to change my own Apple ID, but I want to change my child's. We wrote down the passwords when we created the child accounts but the paper was lost before we were able to log in on their device.

It is odd but Apple doesn't say how to do this on a computer.

Perhaps more detail is helpful: I'll be doing this on a Macbook Pro - we don't have any of the other devices, and I haven't been able to do it so far.
There is no option in the Settings>Family>Child's account to change the password.
I need to know how to reset the password for a child's Apple ID account (included under our Family account) that uses my email and phone number (the same used for my Apple ID). I don't want to change my own Apple Id.
