Unable to reset child's icloud password from my iphone.

I am no longer able to reset my child's icloud password from my iphone.

Steps to reproduce:

• Child is under 13 and has a child account and family sharing.
• I setup child account on previous device and have since bought a new iphone.
• Navigate to settings>family>{child_name}>apple account & password> change password.
• Receive an error stating: Edit Account Information. Because this is a new device, it can't be used to edit your account information yet. This wait time helps protect your account. To change your password now use your other apple devices.
