Sharing 20-min.-long Voice Memo from iPad to another person's computer

Voice Memo tells me that this memo is too long to share by email. And the other person is too far away for Air Drop to work.

I recorded this voice memo on my iPad and am pretty sure I'm sending it to another Apple computer, likely a desktop.

In the future, I need to send more recordings of this length or longer, made on my iPad, to others. If Voice Memo does not accommodate these, is there another app that does?

Hello my name is Valentin, for your problem here are a few suggestions:

  1. Use Messaging Apps:
    • You can use messaging apps like iMessage or third-party messaging apps to send the voice memo. These apps often have higher file size limits compared to email attachments.

2.Cloud Storage Services:

    • Upload the voice memo to a cloud storage service like iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Once uploaded, share the link to the file with the recipient. This is a practical solution for larger files.

3.File Transfer Apps:

    • Consider using file transfer apps like Files by Google, Send Anywhere, or Xender. These apps allow you to share files directly between devices without relying on email or physical proximity.

4.iTunes File Sharing:

    • Connect your iPad to a computer with iTunes. Select your iPad in iTunes, go to the "File Sharing" section, choose Voice Memos, and then drag and drop the memo to your computer.

5.Email Alternatives:

    • Some email services have higher attachment limits than others. You might try using a different email provider or compressing the voice memo into a ZIP file before sending.

6.Third-Party Apps:

    • There are third-party apps designed for large file transfers. Apps like WeTransfer or Infinit allow you to send large files quickly. However, both parties may need to have the app installed.

7.Convert to a Different Format:

    • If the memo is in a standard audio format (like WAV or MP3), you might be able to reduce the file size by converting it to a compressed format before sending.
