how do I stop my call list from appearing on my wifes phone

My call list keeps on appearing on my wifes phone using the same Apple id

The answer is to stop sharing an Apple ID. Apple has recommended for more than 10 years that each person needs their own unique Apple ID. Until you separate your ID's, you'll have merged call logs and voicemail messages.
