Honda sms stopped working after iOS update to v17
After the update I cannot get text messages from the sms app in my 2019 Pilot. It also doesn’t use the phones ringer, only the terrible screech from the car. Honda says it’s an apple issue.

I don’t know what you are talking about. I have exhausted everything I can think of to get text messages to come through the car’s system again including spending a great deal of time with Honda support. Disconnecting and reconnecting the phone with the car’s Handsfree Link. Honda says there must have been a change in the iOS that caused this problem after having worked perfectly during the 4 years I have this vehicle. Maybe Apple should take a look.
