Error Code -36 Can't delete files

Just completed a downgrade from Sonoma to Big Sur, then upgraded to Monterey, then Ventura. Now I get this error when trying to delete any file on my hard drive. I can import an old file from Time Machine and it suddenly becomes undeletible, so the issue seems to be Ventura? Help!
