Received email from SUPPORT. The email address is *******@1avista.com.
Email states detected issue with billing account and wants me to update information via a link. Also gives apple Support 24/7 service customer

Yes, that is a scam. Apple Support would never email you asking for an updated billing account.
The domain alone - @1avista.com - tells you it's not from Apple.
