Scrolling on FaceBook

I’m having the same issue with chirping when scrolling Facebook. It just suddenly appeared. How do we get rid of this annoyance?

Agreed, but ironically it just makes me stop scrolling (and using this platform) altogether. It’s like it reminds me “what are you doing with your life?”

I would like to truly know what the problem is that’s causing this. Turning off the sound is great but actually fixing the problem would be even better. My wife’s iPhone is not doing this. I’ve noticed that she hasn’t did the latest update. I’m just curious if this is what the problem is.

I notice that it only happens when you scroll rapidly. Could this have been intentional to cause users to scroll more slowly and thereby not miss ads?

While this does stop the sounds, it doesn’t stop the scrolling stopping suddenly and not going smoothly.

I’m pretty sure it is the latest update to the Facebook app. I went into the App Store and it said updated yesterday when I noticed the issue. You’ll know by going into the App Store, if there is no update available it was installed automatically. The latest update is 450.0.0, released two days ago now.

This is happening to me too. I deleted and reinstalled the app but it still happens. Makes scrolling at work a little difficult when trying to be discreet

Yeah I’m having the same problem too, it seems to be the latest update to the Facebook app that caused it. I’m sure an update to the app will release in a few days.

Exactly the same problem. 15ProMax. It’s super annoying :/ Lets hope they repair it asap!

I’m having the same problem..!! And despite having turned off the in app sound, the scrolling is not smooth.! I’m having this problem with Facebook only! Since last night!

I’d love to know the root solution for this issue, because I like my sounds/haptics while I navigate through Facebook.
