I have no idea what message or notification you are referring to, I never mentioned such. I took my recently purchased refurbished iPhone to the Apple store for advice as the screen kept freezing. They concluded a third-party screen had been fitted. The problem did not occur for the first month or so but had developed in the last 3-4 weeks. They did spot an iOS update that was due from 17.3 to 17.3.1. So when I arrived home I started the complaint to the organisation that sold me the phone, and at the same time, I installed the update. Over the last 3 days while the argument has continued via emails regarding how the supplier will sort this out under their warranty, miraculously the screen has never froze once. I appreciate the company will not pay Apple to change the display to a genuine part, in fact I guess Apple would not sell them such an item. They insist I wipe the phone and send it back to them for repair, which I assume will never be using a genuine part. The problem I am now faced with is, whether it's not a problem with the phone at all, but the software. If Apple had noticed this as a bug and fixed it with that update they would never admit that it was affecting third-party parts. So it appears I must drop the argument with the supplier for the time being and wait and see. Going back to the original question should the problem re-occur, is there no way of adjusting the sensitivity of the screen?
PS Settings, General, About.....regarding parts shows....Coverage Expired......no reference to service history.
