Quicktime Screen Capture Only Records Audio in Mono

Hi,

I've run into an issue where I'd like to do a screen capture with stereo audio using Quicktime (Current version of Sonoma)

It's some music I'm working on in Cubase 13pro.

All audio goes through a RME audio interface.

The issue is this; Quicktime does a fine job of capturing the screen and audio. It's when I come to playback that I notice it's not in stereo.

This is not acceptable or at the least it's an oversight to include screen and exclude stereo audio.

Is the only option to use a 3rd party App/Extension?
