Apple Watch limited edition challenge for Chinese New Year 2024

Well, at least I got my heart months badge yesterday. However, I am still missing the Chinese Lunar New Years and Unity badges a lot this year… 😢 Greetings from Germany, Axel 🖖🏽

They don't appear when you tap the challenge icon in the bottom right corner of the Activity app on your watch?

Apple very often doesn't announce things they plan on doing, instead waiting until they release it. And you want them to announce things they don't plan on doing? It's great that you submitted feedback but, I just don't see this happening.

I’m watching everyday for the “dragon” medal to be won. But till now no one display. For oriental the Dragon is the most important sign and 2024 was celebrated extraordinarily because of the dragon. I’m really disappointed and it is a very sad decision not to celebrate with a special edition (I do have already two of them and was awaiting this one with happiness) now came some sadness.

to the man who replied to my comment, I can’t find your reply now but I would like to tell you that my comment that I feel cheated was somewhat tongue in cheek and that indeed there are many more important things in life, this is the problem with text, I should have used a 😄 to make my intent clear

Apple has gotten pretty lazy it seems. I guess they want to render themselves unnecessary…without the challenges etc there is no gimmick keeping you from going to any other smart watch… I was hoping for one today too but when it wasn’t listed the last few days realized they weren’t going to do that one either. I’d love a programmer to go over how much work it is to push those things out. Seems weird to just not offer them but keep offering the boring monthly ones. So. Weird.

The situation has always been "Apple giveth and Apple taketh away."

You do realize that Apple is fully aware of how many folks complete these challemges? Perhaps not as many folks are interested in them as before and Apple has decided to devote the resources somewhere else.

I spoke with an Apple support representative and he was just as confused about missing Challenges. He said he looked forward to them as well, but didn’t know why they weren’t showing up. He was also confused as to why he hadn’t gotten questions about problems with the challenges.

Same. They have really crapped put the last few years on the challenges we used to get for limited edition. Thanksgiving. Then yoga last year and now lunar this year. Kind of a bummer:(

What a disappointment! I trained really hard yesterday to get the dragon of the Chinese Lunar new year 2024.. nothing happened 🙁
