I subscribed to 50 gb ICloud, it uploaded my documents and now I just can’t retrieve them.

If you backed up the device prior to turning on iCloud sync, and haven’t backed up since then, you can factory reset your device and set it up again using your backup.
Syncing files does not remove them from device or iCloud.
What do you mean? Your documents are available in the files app or at iCloud.com

Thank you for your reply. I am kinda new with ICloud.
They are not in the file app, once they were synced (uploaded to iCloud server) they were removed, not erased from IPad storage, so No, I cant get ‘em from Files.
I have tried to get the files from ICloud.com, I have 0 files on ICloud Drive and the only place where my old documents appears to be stored is on ICloud Backup, the rest of the tabs are empty.
So I wonder if I restore the backup on this IPad I get access to my old files again.
Please shed some light here!
