Changing a Negative to a positive without using a formula in Numbers Mac App

How can I get rid of the minus sign without using a formula on the Numbers App for Mac? Every time I use a formula and try to delete the original column, it deletes the positive column.

Or select the cells and multiply by -1 using this Multiply Values in Cells by Number Shortcut.

To inspect and, if you like, install the Shortcut click on the above link in Safari. It contains a small AppleScript.

You can run it by selecting the cells, selecting it from the Menu Bar, and answering the prompt.

As with many scripts that change the contents of a document you would be wise make a backup of your work before trying it.
