How can I sync ipod Nano 6 with itunes

Your choice of words; move and sync suggests to me that you are trying to drag songs onto your iPod but it is set to Sync with iTunes, in which case you cannot "move", or drag and drop the songs.

Check the iPod's settings:

• tap the iPod icon at the top of the iTunes window:

• that will display the Device/Settings/Summary pane
• is the Manually manage songs and videos box ticked (checked)? Don't change it at this time
• switch to the Device/Settings/Music pane (1.) in the screenshot below
• is the Sync Music button ticked (2.) (checked)? Don't change it at this time

With your iPod set that way, you should be able to manually drag items onto your iPod. I don't know how it was setup before you reinstalled iTunes.

None of those points is true.

While the writing is on the wall as far as iTunes is concerned (and Apple can't really object to my saying that at this point in time, since its replacements are now available for Windows), it is still in use and its last update was 15th December 2023.

Oops! Good point tt2, I missed the fact that yoispo wants to copy from the iPod to iTunes.
