My screen recording failed to save. So does it mean I have lost the recording. If yes then how do I retrieve that.. it’s a important recording

What was the reason for it not saving?

Did you run out of storage space?

If the recording was unable to be saved, there is nothing that can be recovered.

There have been 2 reasons noted for that failure message on these forums:

• The content on your screen that you are recording is protected. For example, you will not be able to record a Netflix movie that is playing on your screen.
• The device ran out of storage space to be able to save the recording.
