Macbook M1 Pro 2021 randomly fluctuates while charging and at 100%?
I use my primarily use my MacBook docked, connected to two external displays along with a mouse and keyboard. Most of the time it will say something along the lines of “primarily used in desktop mode,” when I click on the battery icon on the menu bar, so it will drain the battery to 80% to preserve battery health. But recently, I've noticed a strange discrepancy between the battery indicator and the battery history log. I went to check my battery usage, only to find the images I've included below. The “Battery Level” section shows the computer being connected and disconnected from the power source over 30+ times over the course of the day. It also shows the battery fluctuating rapidly at seemingly impossible rates while I wasn't even using the computer. And accompanying this difficult to read graph, there are the frightening red sections of the graph, which leads me to believe something is terribly wrong. I've tried restarting, but to no avail. I'm not sure if the screen time section, which is inaccurate, as I've been on my computer on and off during the day, is related to this issue. But, I do know that any insight you could provide into my issue would be greatly appreciated, as I have already searched the web for hours before posting. Thank you in advance!
