How to turn off SafeSearch settings in iPad?

SafeSearch has been set on my account without my involvement. It has been locked on and the system advises it can only be reset by the adult account holder. I am the adult account holder but I seem to be inhibited from making the deselection.

Advice much appreciated as to how to solve this issue and deselect SafeSearch.

SafeSearch is a Google feature - not Apple. As such, you might be best advised to direct your search for help to Google:

https://support.google.com/

Are you perhaps using a VPN with your iPad? If so, try disabling the VPN - as this may be interfering with Google's SafeSearch feature.
