factory defect

Hello, I have bought approximately 2 weeks ago Macbook Pro in the authorized reseller company, yesterday the screen went into black lines, i contact support team and they only offered repairing the computer, nevertheless i asked them to replace with the new one. I do not want to get back "opened and repaired" laptop, as the price for the item afterwards will be much less. can official apple somehow help me with this issue?

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11

Apple is not here as we are all users like you.

Having said that take your MacBook to your nearest Apple Store - not an authorised repair centre or reseller - and state your concerns there. If it’s outside of 14 days (you state approximately 2 weeks) then it will be repaired under the warranty. As far as I know Apple still maintains its GSX (Global Service Exchange) or similar program when repairs are carried out at an AASP. This guarantees you all repairs are done to Apple’s own exacting standards as well genuine parts maintained and held by Apple only.
