Unable to see selected downloaded, purchased TV shows in Apple TV app

I have downloaded TV shows to watch offline on my iPad whilst travelling. These shows were previously purchased using the iTunes store. Whilst I am able to download these for offline use, they do not appear in the ‘downloads’ section of the Apple TV app when either online or offline. Notably, the TV shows in question (Bluey, Playschool) are also available for viewing using the Australian Broadcasting Corporation iView streaming app, though this app does not allow downloading for offline viewing.

I am able to download and view other TV shows, such as Ted Lasso, in the downloads section and view these whilst the iPad is offline.

I suspect the issue has to do with the TV shows in question being available through another app.

Are there any suggestions for a workaround?
