Logic Pro 10.8.1 plugins greyed out

Is there a new 'feature' in Logic Pro 10.8 which means that plugins when added to a channel do not function?

Even where Project Settings/General/Opening Project - only load plugins needed for playback is NOT clicked - I find that adding a new plugin results in it being greyed out.

Why does this happen? There is nothing wrong with the plugin, it has been verified and used previously

When it happens, how can one correct it?

Melodyne ARA no longer working after update to Logic 10.7.5 Just updated to Logic 10.7.5 in the hope that the myriad bugs in 10.7.4 would have been fixed to immediately find that Melodyne no longer works properly. No blobs showing. I will stress that before the update to .5 everythign with Melodyne was fine. This is nothign to do with it not being first in the plugins or having flex enabled, it's 100% to do with t update from Logic .4 to .5 Has anyone got tips or come across this please? How do you uninstall a plugin and then reinstall for example? Are there other standard things to try in thris situaiton? Melodyne works in standalone mode, so maybe it's Apple breaking ARA with the Update? Thanks.

I cant find Native Kontakt 8 in Logic I can see the Kontakt player both in the Logic plugin manager and I can launch it and see the plugins and play them, but I cant get them to play in Logic. Anybody solved this issue before?

Plugin from existing sessions not loading. But load in new sessions All of a sudden, some of my plugins, Kontakt 8, analog lab etc….. in older Logic sessions are showing up blank/greyed out in the mixer and not playing any audio. These same plugins load and work fine in new sessions. I’m on Logic Pro 11.2 running on an Apple M2 Max chip. Anyone else experiencing this or know a fix?
