All Inboxes option is missing in Inboxes Post Ventura update

just did the new update and All inboxes option has disappeared from ‘Inboxes’. I was told apple was starting to get obsolete because of all the PC/google updates. I've been die hard apple but with all the updates and new versions...financially I can no longer keep up with the massive glitches and don't know how to manage when things just decide to completely disappear after an update. i love you apple but I think we need to move in a different direction. Apple after a long time on customer service...I don't have the time...i have 15 jobs just to keep on living at this point...just told me to wait for the next update. Not good enough. I will hurt for a while and might need therapy but apple and me are no longer good for each other. ugh.

Ah, the missing "All Inboxes" option in Apple Mail can be frustrating! Don't worry, it's likely not gone for good. Here are several ways to bring it back:

1. Check the "Favorites" Section:

  • The "All Inboxes" option might be hiding in the "Favorites" section of your sidebar.
  • Hover your mouse over "Favorites" and look for a small arrow pointing right (">").
  • Click the arrow to expand the "Favorites" section and see if "All Inboxes" is there.
  • If it is, simply drag it back to the main "Inboxes" section for easier access.

2. Add "All Inboxes" Back to Favorites:

  • If you don't see "All Inboxes" in the expanded "Favorites" section, click the "+" icon.
  • From the drop-down menu, select "All Inboxes" to add it back.
  • You can then drag it to your desired position in the "Favorites" list.

3. Use the View Menu:

  • Go to the top menu bar and click on "View".
  • Select "Show Favorites Bar" to ensure the "Favorites" section is visible.
  • You can then follow step 1 or 2 above to access or add "All Inboxes".

4. Restart Mail App:

  • Sometimes a simple restart of the Mail app can resolve glitches.
  • Quit Mail completely and then reopen it.
  • See if the "All Inboxes" option has reappeared.

5. Additional Tips:

  • If you're still having trouble, try searching for "All Inboxes" in the Mail app's search bar.
  • For more advanced troubleshooting, you can refer to Apple's official support page for Mail: [[invalid URL removed]]([invalid URL removed])

I hope this helps! Remember, if none of these methods work, you can always contact Apple Support for further assistance.

All Inboxes has not disappeared. It is still here in the current Sonoma 14.3.1.

I am puzzled by your post.

You posted on the Monterey forum, but your profile mentions Ventura... what OS are you running?

As far as I can tell, there has been no change in this regard. You can still have All Inboxes under Favorites, as has been the case for many years. You mention it disappearing from "Inboxes"... that is not even a thing, AFAICT. Care to elaborate?

Thank you to The Knowledge seeker. A good summary and easy to follow.

But ... I still don't see the separate inboxes in my left-hand sidebar.

However, they do appear as positions marked with small right / down arrows on the left side of a continuous list of all my inbox entries, in the main pane.

Further, the Inbox label of the side bar contains a tilde sign ~ and the All Inboxes line containing a ! .

So I'm still rather puzzled.

When I tried to add All Inboxes in the Add Favorites selection box, I find it's greyed out.

I should add that I migrated my Mail with everything else to OS Sonoma on a new Mac from High Sierra on a very old Mac. Possibly this has affected the operation ?

I would value your comment!
